Not long after the founder, Sam Gorgone, began investing in and managing rental properties of his own, people began asking for his help with their property investments. It was then that Sam developed the business plan for Hometown Property Management Services. It was his goal to create a company that would assist other investors by using his own philosophy as a solid foundation for success: lease quality living spaces to qualified renters at a fair market value.
Hometown was launched in 2009. Confident in this win-win strategy, Sam Gorgone left a successful corporate career behind and never looked back. From Hometown's downtown office on beautiful North Duke Street in the heart of Lancaster City, the company continues that mission and continues to thrive. Hometown's team is dedicated to a methodology of superior services that support the economic and civic growth of Lancaster County.

Liz often leads Hometown's larger and more complicated projects, and switches regularly between high-level and day-to-day details. Her love of customer service dates back to her days as a manager in the service industry and a career in education. She earned her Pennsylvania real estate license in 2016. An adept problem solver, she is known for her calm demeanor and warm yet strong personality. Liz has a knack for baking and enjoys CrossFit and yoga.
Dave earned his real estate license in 2015. His professional background is a mix of sales and new business development, which is where his contributions shine. Dave's inviting personality is a perfect fit for guiding both those renting property as well as owner-clients who choose Hometown to lease and manage their investments. When he's not property managing, Dave can be found at the gym where he is devoted to strength training and nutrition. Dave was a chef at a local favorite establishment and continues his love of cooking at home.
Linsey earned her real estate license in 2015. She began her real estate career as a licensed agent representing buyers and sellers until she transitioned to property management, which provided her with an opportunity to assist real estate clients in a different way. She is quite adept at identifying our clients' needs and executing them. A rental property owner herself, Linsey spends her free time working on her properties, spending time with her family, or both.
Jenny's career in real estate began as a PA licensed agent with Hometown Property Sales Group in 2021 before joining the management team in 2024. As a transplant from North Carolina, her approachable Southern charm and background in customer service centered professions make her a natural at building relationships with clients and tenants. Jenny loves working on house projects with her partner, and has recently become preoccupied with making stained glass.
Over the years, Matt has spent considerable time working on rental properties. This made it a nice fit when he joined Hometown in 2018 as Maintenance Supervisor. While Matt coordinates the ongoing and various repair items that Hometown encounters on a daily basis, he can also repair just about anything. When not fixing things during the week, he can be found on the weekend chasing around his four kids, and you guessed it, fixing stuff.
Jeff began his real estate career in 2004 as a full-time, PA-licensed sales agent. After 14 years of helping clients buy and sell real estate, Jeff earned his Pennsylvania Real Estate Broker license in 2018. Shortly after, in 2019, he joined Hometown Property Management Services as Broker of Record. He is the owner of Hometown Property Sales Group, an affiliate of Hometown Property Management Services. He represents investors, buyers, and sellers in their various real estate needs. Jeff is an avid musician who enjoys travel and spending time with his friends and family.
